English Language Instructor

Position Title: English Language Instructor            Employment Type: Part time

Job Location: Kabul, Afghanistan                            Organization: Kateb University

Years of Experience: 5 years                                   Contract Duration: 1 year (extendable)

Responsibilities

1. Plan, prepare and deliver lessons for students of different levels and ages
2. Design and produce lesson plans and adapt existing materials in accordance with the students’ needs.
3. Plan schemes of work and assess student’s progress
4. Provide information and other quality assurance exercises
5. Create positive educational climate for students to learn in
6. Create lesson plans and modify accordingly as needed
7. Grade papers and perform other administrative duties as needed.
8. Prepare and distribute required reports and certificates
9. Observe and evaluate student’s performance
10. Manage student behavior in the classroom by involving approved disciplinary procedures.
11. Any other duties as assigned by the KELD manager.

Job Requirements

1. Must have Bachelor’s degree in English Language Literature or diploma from a prestigious academy.
2. Five years of experience in teaching English Language
3. Acquaintance with academic skills
4. Good communication skill
5. Competence in teaching different levels
