The third round of ACM/ICPC National Programming Competition was successfully held by Kateb University.

This round of competition was held at Sports Gymnasium of Polytechnic University with the scientific and financial support of Kateb University, according to the frequent request of Polytechnic University. In the result, Kabul University, Kateb University and Polytechnic University got first, second and third position.

It is worth mentioning that ACM-ICPC Programming Competitions are the oldest, most prestigious and largest programming competitions in the world and Kateb University is the only representative of this institutions in the Afghanistan based on its agreement with ACM. This year, for third year, it is hosting these scientific competitions. Regional competitions was held on November 6 at Kateb University, During this competition, a scientific and executive cooperation agreement was signed between two universities.
