On September 24, 2019, the Faculty of Economics in collaboration with Ministry of Finance and Insurance Companies in Afghanistan organized an awareness session on Insurance. The workshop, aimed at informing students about the importance of Insurance and its impact on current businesses. The speakers of the session were Dr. Hassan Rohani, Dean of Faculty of Economics at Kateb, Mr. Mohammad Shaker Azizi, Head of BBA Department at Kateb and representatives from the Ministry of Finance and the Insurance Companies. The event was a fruitful experience for the students as whole and as per the feedback provided they gained a lot of useful information regarding the Insurance sector in Afghanistan.
