1. The pediatric ward of this hospital, equipped with modern machines in the NICU, ICU and pediatric beds, provides therapeutic and cares services to premature infants and newborns as well as other clients. The pediatricians at this hospital have successfully offered a wide range of specialized pediatric services such as double volume blood exchange transfusion, treatment and care of premature children, and pediatric diagnostic and treatment procedures. In 2009, about 1100 patients received healthcare services in this ward.
2. Gynecology and obstetrics ward of this hospital, thanks to its specialist doctors and advanced equipment, provides services including the treatment of diseases, surgery, and prenatal and labor care round the clock. As such, it has played a crucial role in lowering maternal mortality and disability. In 2009, 520 patients received healthcare services from this ward and 58 infants were born by natural delivery and cesarean section.
3. General internal ward of this hospital has three specialist doctors who are on duty 24 hours a day in different working shifts. The hospital has an emergency and an ICU department that provides specialized services for critically ill and urgent patients. To date, a host of patients have been admitted to and benefited from the services of this ward. In 2019, about 1507 patients received therapeutic services in this hospital.
4. General surgery ward, this hospital has three specialist doctors who are on duty 24 hours a day on different working shifts. The hospital has an emergency department and ICU, which provides specialized surgical services for critically ill and emergency patients. A total of (262) patients have received medical services from this ward, and 67 operations, including 18 pediatric surgeries, were performed in the general surgery ward.
5. Providing free medical services during Muharram: In order to provide quality health services for the needy and disadvantaged families in the month of Muharram, Kateb Hospital provided all of its medical activities for free for 15 days. During this period, 1223 patients received therapeutic and healthcare services in different wards of the hospital.
