Laboratory Coordinator

A Laboratory Coordinator is responsible for coordinating activities in the Science laboratory. Provides services and necessary facilities for laboratory; ensures safety of lab to provide a safe operation; this position requires knowledge of science instructions, excellent communication and administrative skills to plan and supervise lab activities.

Job Description:

1. Supervision and control of the laboratory as laboratory expert in order to maintain the laboratory’s order.
2. Monitoring the routine operations of labs.
3. Training and guidance of students of the faculty and other students
4. Planning and implementing maintenance schedules for laboratory equipment.
5. Maintaining current materials and requesting materials required for the laboratory.
6. Providing safety equipment required by the laboratory and necessary safety guidance to the students during the work.
7. Performing other tasks given by the Supervisor.

Job Requirements:

1. Degree in Medical Sciences
2. Minimum two years relevant experience
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
4. Proficiency in national and English languages
5. Excellent communication and organizational skills
