Scientific Seminar on Periodic Program Review was held by university’s quality assurance collaborated with professor’s professional development center.

The Periodic Program Review Seminar was particularly held for faculty deans, head of departments and faculty members on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 in Meeting Hall of Master’s Branch. This seminar was held by university’s quality assurance collaborated with professor’s professional development center.

In this seminar, Dr. Mohammad Musa Jaffari Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Professor Rohullah Roein Head of Quality Assurance of Kateb University talked with deans of faculty, heads of department and faculty members about their experiences of the workshop which was held on April 9 to April 12, 2019 by Ministry of Higher Education, University of Leicester and British Council in Delhi, India.

In this seminar, Dr. Jaffari talked about the importance of review of scientific programs and their adaptation. He emphasized that in 2018, Kateb University has successfully passed its annual review of its four program (Medicine, Business Economics, Computer Science and Law) and were approved by the department of quality improvement and accreditation. He also said that in the following year, the programs of Political Science Department, Masters of International Relations and Masters of Development Economics will be reviewed, their adaptation plans are ready and work in this field is in process.

Professor Rohullah Roein gave information about the policy of program review, annual monitoring and its adaptation methodology, objectives and process of periodic program review, panel formation and its activities, and the form of periodic program review.
