The workshop was organized by the Civil Engineering Faculty of Kateb University with the presence of students from Universities of (Kateb, Polytechnic, Kabul, Khatam al-Nabieen, Goharshad and Afghan Institute of Technology) at Kabul Polytechnic University, on November 7th, 2019.
Students were introduced to the designing principles of Auto Cad and SAP 2000 software and learned how to analyze the bridge. Then under the supervision of experienced professors, the students practically began to build spaghetti bridges.
At the end, participants were taught some analytical and practical points about the spaghetti bridges. Constructed bridges will be uploaded soon and the top team will be heading to the National Spaghetti Championships for free.
To be noted that the National Spaghetti Bridge Championships will be held soon and details will be announced.
