Student Day Celebration Program, Awareness of Kateb LMS and Introduction of New Students Included by Economics Faculty.

This program was held on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, from 1:30 to 5:00 pm in the presence of new students, including the Central Branch and Barchi, in the meeting hall of Barchi Branch.

At the beginning of the program, Mr. Abuzar Afzali, specialist at Economics Faculty, introduced the organizational chart and introduced the members of the faculty. He then explained the strategic plan of the faculty and provided information about the operational plan of the faculty and the departments of business economics and business management, annual supervision, periodic review and evaluation and accreditation criteria of the Ministry of Higher Education of Afghanistan.

Following the program, Dr. Hassan Rohani, Dean of Economics Faculty started his speech. His speech was divided into two parts. The first part of his speech was the importance of science with the highlight of the Holy Quran and the second part was the importance of science in today’s society. In addition, examples from different countries that have paid attention to science and have achieved countless successes over the years were also presented by Dr. Rouhani.

Then, Mr. Ahmad Mohammadi, Head of Business Economics Department, congratulated the student on the day and talked about the Entrepreneurship Week, which was to be held on 9-11 December 2020 by Economics Faculty.

After Mr. Mohammadi’s speech, Mr. Ahmad Ali Afzali, Physician of Kateb Hospital, spoke about the hospital’s services.

Then, for the entertainment of program, poetry recitation and students’ memories were shared by the students.

Mr. Mohammad Shaker Azizi spoke about the importance of the student period. Mr. Azizi said that these four years of student life are the best time for each person’s life that should be used better and know the cost of their life opportunities and be able to be successful for themselves, their families and their community after these four years. Also, he pointed out the importance of economics and the efforts of Economics Faculty to apply economics that are appropriate to the needs of the market and society. Then, Mr. Mohammadi provided information about Kateb LMS (e-learning system).

At the end of the program, Mr. Shakir Azizi in his speeches referred to science and learning science and asked students to seek science because our country needs specialized people.

The program ended with giving awards to the top students, the executive team of the program, and took memorable photos.
