The program was held during 54 hours of training and was attended by more than 120 students of Kateb University and other universities. The purpose of this event was to educate and promote entrepreneurship in the country. In addition, by participating in this program, students learned how to think of the right and applicable ideas.
The program began with a speech by Professor Ali Ahmad Yousefi, Chancellor of Kateb University. Mr. Yousefi, while introducing the importance of entrepreneurship in the country and the world, also mentioned third-generation universities. Then, Dr. Hassan Rohani, Dean of Economics faculty, pointed out the importance of entrepreneurship in the growth and development of the country’s economy. Following this, Mr. Mohammad Mahdi Shefaei spoke about creativity and an active mind. At the end of the first day, out of more than 40 ideas, 11 top ideas were selected by the participants, and teams of 10 or 11 people were formed, taking into account the field of expertise.
On the second day, a training workshop entitled “Business Idea” was presented by Mr. Mohammad Shaker Azizi, a business model canvas by Mr. Ahmad Mohammadi, and a Minimum Viable Product or MVP by Professor Mohammad Mahdi Shefaei, which provide the basis for labor market research and familiarity with the labor market to the participants.
On the third day, the “How to Pitch” training workshop was presented by Mr. Ahmad Mohammadi.
On Friday afternoon, the teams presented their ideas in 4 minutes and answered the questions of the four judges in 3 minutes.
At the end of the program, three teams were recognized as the top teams, each of which is as follows:
First Team: RSN Team
Second Team: Unique Fruit Chips Team
Third team: Samaroq Laghmeh Production Team
