Abdullah Alemi, Program Analyst, SDSN Afghanistan

 

With more than ten years of experience in the field of research, evaluation and program design, Mr. Abdullah Alemi has worked with national and international organizations in different positions including manager, director and advisor. Abdullah is a system thinker and is well versed with qualitative and quantitative research methods. Among others, he has led the development of monitoring and reporting mechanisms for the Ministry of Education, developed a monitoring and evaluation strategy for the Ministry of Women’s Affairs, and, supported by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) has introduced modern measurements methods to the Ministry of Education. Currently, he leads the design and implementation of a university SDG assessment for learning initiative – that is part of a bigger undertaking by SDSN Afghanistan to enhance the capacity of universities to play a stronger role in the achievement of Afghanistan SDGs.

Mr. Abdullah Alemi holds a Master degree in assessment and evaluation from the University of Melbourne, Australia. He is currently working as the Evaluation Consultant and Program Analyst with SDSN Afghanistan.
